READ FULL DESCRIPTION Tape includes about 2 hours and 15 minutes of Comedy Central* broadcasts, complete with commercials and interstitials. Programming is all Monty Python's Flying Circus episodes/sketches with related "looking back" segments*. Really fun era of Comedy Central, with Penn Gillette voiceover and lots of in-house promos that are unique comedy sketches unto themselves (with appearances by Patton Oswalt and Marc Maron, for instance).
*NOTE: From around the 16:55 mark until around 22:45, the video cuts to vintage GRAPHIC adult content, then cuts back to Comedy Central for the remainder of the tape. Do not buy this tape if that offends you
Based on commercials, this appears to have been recorded around 1995.
This is a FIRST GENERATION tape from my personal collection of tapes I’ve sourced over the years from thrift stores, friends, Marketplace, etc.
Tape plays on my VCR with no noticeable tracking issues when tested. I can’t speak for all VCRs so ymmv. No mold.
